Zetafax consists of both fax server and fax client software. The email gateway connects the fax server to your email server, allowing you to use email clients as an alternative to fax clients.
Faxes are submitted to the fax server from the Zetafax client, email client or from Microsoft Office documents on the client PC. These documents are then sent via the central fax server.
The Zetafax server maintains a fax queue, and submits faxes systematically to one or more devices according to the priority and time to be sent.

Zetafax is very easy to install and the Zetafax server has an automatic modem detection facility and a device installation wizard to make the process of installing the fax server and client as easy as possible.
The Zetafax server will automatically retry failed faxes. Administrators can set the Zetafax server to send faxes only at off-peak times or can set permissions for individuals to send only or receive only. The fax server also has a report writing facility that allows users to compile detailed graphical reports of the fax server's activity. The Zetafax server will also allow you to archive all faxes sent and received and will automatically print failed faxes.
In addition the Zetafax fax server has remote configuration capabilities. Fax server programs can also be monitored remotely.
